A queer-feminist double anniversary with panel, live concerts and DJs — headlined by the iconic MERCENÁRIAS (live, São Paulo). What started in 2011 as a DIY truck at the Transgenialer CSD in Kreuzberg grew into one of Berlin's most distinctive queer-feminist cultural initiatives. Since 2016, the collective has regularly organized club nights and interdisciplinary cultural events. Long before terms like diversity, intersectionality or decolonization shaped the cultural-political debate, ¡MASH-UP! consistently centered FLINTA*, BIPoC and migrant artists from the Global South in its events. Now the collective celebrates its biggest party yet — a night of punk, post-punk, electronic music and queer energy that will move Berlin.

At the heart of the night: MERCENÁRIAS, the iconic post-punk band from São Paulo, live on stage. One of the defining voices of Brazilian punk since 1982, named by Rolling Stone Brasil as one of the country's five most important punk albums, celebrated on international compilations alongside the genre's biggest names. In 2026, their landmark album “Cadê as Armas?” turns 40 — and the band brings it, plus highlights from 44 years of history, for one of their rare German shows, right here at SO36, on a trip made possible with the support of the Goethe-Institut.

Around them, a lineup full of energy: Oyèmi Noize & The Sad Girls (punk, indie, Berlin) and Alice Dee (rap, grime, trap, Berlin) live on stage. On the decks, our residents Marie Leão (indie, post-punk, queer electro pop), House of Grace (acid, Chicago house, garage, Latin house) and Nara (tropical bass), plus DJ Gin from London (Jersey club, experimental Afrobeat, house) and Putas Vampiras (dark-techno live PA), who as founder of the legendary Vampire Haus raves brings thousands of people onto the streets of São Paulo. Also flashmob performances by True Colors Frauenchor Berlin and Urso Ki Ti Schubsen — the Brazilian carnival brass band that brings Brazilian street carnival right into the crowd —, a voguing show, visuals by VJ FroZen and pop-up haircuts by Butch Cut.

Queer-feministisches Doppeljubiläum mit Panel, Live-Konzerten und DJs — headlined von den ikonischen MERCENÁRIAS (live, São Paulo). Seit 2016 organisiert das Kollektiv regelmäßig Clubnächte und interdisziplinäre Kulturveranstaltungen. Lange bevor Begriffe wie Diversität, Intersektionalität oder Dekolonisierung die kulturpolitische Debatte prägten, stellte ¡MASH-UP! FLINTA*-, BIPoC- und migrantische Künstler*innen aus dem Globalen Süden konsequent in den Mittelpunkt seiner Veranstaltungen. Jetzt feiert das Kollektiv sein größtes Fest bisher — ein Abend zwischen Punk, Post-Punk, elektronischer Musik und queerer Energie, der Berlin in Bewegung bringt.

Das Herzstück des Abends: MERCENÁRIAS, die ikonische Post-Punk-Band aus São Paulo, live auf der Bühne. Seit 1982 eine der prägendsten Stimmen des brasilianischen Punk, ausgezeichnet vom Rolling Stone Brasil als eines der fünf wichtigsten Punk-Alben des Landes, gefeiert auf internationalen Compilations neben den größten Namen des Genres. 2026 feiert ihr Meilenstein-Album „Cadê as Armas?“ 40-jähriges Jubiläum — und die Band bringt es, plus Highlights aus 44 Jahren Bandgeschichte, für einen ihrer seltenen Deutschland-Auftritte direkt zu dir ins SO36 — eine Reise, die dank der Unterstützung des Goethe-Instituts möglich wurde.
